Sayadaw: To sustain the awareness, you can be mindful of objects or remind yourself if awareness is present. When we ask, awareness is bound to come.

Yogi: What if I watch my body?

Sayadaw: Yes, you can use both – being aware of a specific object or asking if awareness is present.
